One of the things I like about this time of year is the appearance of wild garlic or Ramsons. When the flowers come out you will know about it because of the overwhelming smell of garlic when you wonder through the woods.

One of the things I like the most about having an allotment and having a job that offers shift based work is that sometimes I don't work on a Mondays (not the most depressing day of the week I'm told, that Wednesday). Whilst everyone else is trudging slowly and sulkily to work I get to work by the river and feed the ducks.
