Well, some good news is that it
stopped raining and my onions have started to dry out. Went down late
this afternoon and turned them over. This may not sound like much but
it has spent the last 36 hours throwing it down with rain, so to
start to get any drying is an upside.
The river is suddenly filled with
thousands of gallons of muddy water that wasn't there on Monday.
The ducks look a little startled and I
can't see the fish to judge their mood from their facial expression.
The sunflowers, that I've planted so
that the bird will have plenty of seed in the Autumn, are starting to
flower and are a glorious crimson. They are really rather worth
seeing, which is good because here's a picture,
Only a little bit of picking today.
Courgette (everyday) and French beans which helped to make a lovely
risotto.
