Whilst some of you are out
setting fire to the, recently built, homes of hedgehogs and throwing an effigy
of a Roman Catholic, as someone on radio 4’s PM described your bonfire’s Guy
(terrorist my friend, terrorist), on top, I have a question for those who have
remained indoors. A question that the internet failed to answer. Ok, it was a
very, very quick search, whilst at work this morning but still, no answer. I
did find the answer to several of life’s other pressing issues such as, where I
could find out how to get white teeth using a secret discovered by a mum that
Dentists don’t want me to know or how to get a much, much bigger penis. I could
have E-mailed Helen and Olly at Answer Me This but I don’t have the time and so
I turn to you. Here is the question that needs answering, are green chillies
just red chillies that haven’t ripened?
My
chillies have still not ripened and the plants aren’t dealing very well with
the turn in the weather. I had a very good look at them today and they looked
really sad so I picked the fruits. So now I have a large amount of green
chillies,
And I’m not sure what to do
with them.
Can I put them on the windowsill to ripen or
are they ok as they are? Please help.
The parsnips that I picked the other day were
really rather tasty, we had them roasted this evening. The cavlo nero is still
going strong and tastes lovely but my sprouts are still very small indeed,
which is a bit of a shame.
